601 SW 2nd Avenue
Oregon LERA and the Labor and Employment Section of the Oregon State Bar present a screening of “The Art and Science of Labor Arbitration” and a discussion with local arbitrators, Luella Nelson and David Gaba, to follow. This film is the second documentary produced for the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers’ Video History Project and is a unique, historical 55-minute documentary written, directed and produced by two-time Emmy winner Carol M. Rosenbaum. The film focuses on arbitrators whose careers and contributions are landmarks in labor law policy and in the resolution of industrial disputes. This event represents a timely opportunity to ignite discussions about where the labor field has been and where it may be headed.
Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 am, and the panel discussion will begin at 8:00 am.
